Groton, Ma - Sr Nate Pomeroy scored goals in both half's and assisted on two goals in the first 40 minutes as the Crusader of Groton Dunstable Blank the Hudson Hawks 5-0 in Midland B League play. GD soon got on the board when Sr. Michael Keating headed home a free kick sent into the box from Pomeroy for the 1-0 lead. It took 19 minutes before Nate Pomeroy finished a breakaway from a great feed from So. Matt Tornaritis. Jr Ryan Hardy finished a header to the back post before halftime on a great heads up play from Pomeroy, 3-0 at half. GD's Sr Doug Rosa scored from the top of the penalty spot area when Tornaritis broke down the end line and sent a ball out front to Rosa for the far post upper corner finish. Nate Pomeroy finished the scoring when he broke in alone from a great feed by Matt Tornaritis. The Crusaders improve to 4-0 in Midland B League play at 6-2-1 overall. Hudson fall to 1-2 in League play at 5-3 overall. GD will host division rival Marlboro on Thursday at 4pm. GD received great play from Eric Stone, Jamie Bailey, Alex Murphy, Michael Keating and Game MVP Ben Lutz.
