Panthers Top Crusaders 2-1 in Boys Soccer

Marlboro, Ma - Sr. forwards Kevin Enriquez and Andre Faris both score first half goals to lead the Panthers on Marlboro to a 2-1 win over the Crusaders of Groton Dunstable. Enriquez opened the scoring by picking up a rebound off a shot and beating Crusader keeper Nick Resca to the ball in the 15th minute. Farias made it 2-0 before the half on a great turn in front of goal simply finishing it. Sr. Nate Martinez made it 2-1 in the 64th minute on a great feed from Matt Warren. GD received a free kick after Marlboro keeper Pedro Guerrieri stepped out of the box with the ball in hand, Sr. Dean Tornaritis played a quick ball to Martinez who finished one time to bring things even but the official called the play back... GD dominated play late but were unable to get the equalizer and fall to 0-1 in Midland B league play and 2-2 on the season. Marlboro improves to 1-0 in league play and 3-0 overall.
