GDRHS Groton, MA Tue 9/13/11- Jr. Nate Pomeroy scored 2 goals in each half and added 2 assists in leading the Crusaders to a 8-4 victory in Mid Wach B league Action. GD scored three times in the first 10 minutes with goals from Adam Kmetz and two by Pomeroy. Nashoba pulled one back in the 28th minute on a PK by Ryan Stevens. GD added two more in the first 5 minutes of the send stanza with goals by Kyle Romich and Pomeroy for a 5-1 lead. Then teams traded goals back and forth with Pomeroy finishing for his 4th tally in the 63rd minute for an 8-3 lead. Ross Cressman finished late for the Chieftains who drop to 0-1 on the early season. GD received great play from Jr. Eric Stone, Jr. Tim Higgins, Paolo Filho and Sr. Peter Ellerkamp. GD improve to 2-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 in Mid Wach B league play.
