Hudson, MA – Jr. Forward Nate Pomeroy scored three times today and Sr. Forward Kyle Romich add a pair of goals as the Crusaders defeated the Hudson Hawks 6-0 in Mid Wach B action. Pomeroy opened the scoring in the 9th minute on a great give and go with Jr. Midfielder Doug Rosa and broke in alone for the easy finish. Kyle Romich scored just over a minute later when he received a throw in from Jr. defender Adam Kmetz to the near post and finished it in the top corner beating Hudson keeper Mike Santos. GD soon jumped on the board in the 2nd stanza when Sr. Midfielder Chris Mckinney finished a scrap in front of net on a feed from Sr. Midfielder Alex Merlino. Less than a minute later the Crusaders struck again when Romich broke in alone from a Mike Keating through ball making it 4-0. Pomeroy added two goals over the next 15 minutes to for a final of 6-0. Hudson drop to 2-5-3 in Mid Wach B League play and 4-6-5 overall. Groton Dunstable finish the Mid Wach B League at 9-1-0and are officially 2011 League Champions. GD improves to 14-1-1 overall and travel to Chelmsford (10-1-4) on Saturday for a Non league matchup.
