Hudson, Ma - Jr Matt Krikorian assisted one goal in the first five minutes and scored with five minutes remaining as the Crusaders of Groton Dunstable forged a 2-2 draw with Midland B League rival Hudson Hawks. GD open the scoring when Krikorian broke down the left flank early in the contest and delivered a ball that Jr Mitch Wheeler jumped on and headed home out front off the bounce. Hudson drew things even on a penalty kick just before half time. 12 minutes into the 2nd stanza Joao Mendes broke down the right flank and delivered a great pass that send Josh Pimental who broke in alone and slipped it past Crusader Keeper Tyler Belanger for the 2-1 lead. GD didn't give up and pressed for the equalizer and with five minutes remaining Sr Matt Straw send a ball over the top to the week side and Krikorian broke in alone and finished to draw things even at 2-2 with his 18th goal of the season.
GD almost won the game in the dying seconds as Krikorian headed it past Hudson Keeper Ryan Lyman but he somehow got his hand on the ball and smothered it to safety. GD received great play from Like Costello and Patrick Keating. Hudson finished the season at 8-7-2 and 5-3 -2 in Midland B league play. GD move to 12-3-2 oveall and 8-0-1 in Midland B league play. GD will host Westboro tomorrow at 4pm for the Midland B league Championship.
