Head Coach: Sean Wisbey (12th Season) (125-63-28)
Sean enters his 12th season as the Head Coach of the Crusader Boys Soccer program and 18th as a Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach. Since taking charge in 2010 he has lead the Varsity Boys to back to back state titles in 2011 & 2012 in Division 2 and helped in achieving the first Division 1 Central Mass District Championship in school history by defeating Worcester South 2-0 in 2015 and finishing as State Finalists. In 2020 Sean lead the Crusaders to a 10-2 record and were POD 7 League and Playoff Champions. Sean has lead the Crusaders of 3 Mid Wach League Titles in 2011, 2012 and 2019 while also being selected Mid Wach B Coach of the Year in 2011 and 2019.
Prior to joining the Crusaders in the fall of 2010, Sean served four seasons at his alma mater Merrimack High School in New Hampshire leading the Tomahawks to four winning seasons (52-19-3), two State Semi-Final appearances and captured the NHIAA Div 1, Class L State Title in 2007(18-2-0). Sean also spend two seasons at Alvirne High School in Hudson, NH (19-14-3) and two at Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH as Head Men’s Coach (20-15-1). An outstanding motivator Sean Wisbey was tabbed the 2004, 2006 & 2007 “Nashua Telegraph” & 2011 and 2015 "Lowell Sun" Boys Soccer Coach of the Year.
1997 graduate of Plymouth State University in Physical Education, Sean started every game (71) in all four seasons for the Panthers including leading the team in two ECAC tournament appearances and an NCAA Tournament in 1995. In 1992 & 1994 Sean was a Little East Conference All Star Selection and led the conference in scoring (15 goals in 1994). In 1993 he lead the Panthers to its first "Little East" Conference Championship (6-0) in five years. In both 1994 & 1995 he was also selected as a NSCAA All New England Selection and chosen for the NSCAA 1995 Senior Bowl. Sean finished his career at PSC with 38 goals and 14 assists = 90 points and third overall in goals and points in the programs 60+ year history.
Sean holds a USSF B License, Advanced National Coaching Diploma , NFHS National Coaching Certification, AED/CPR Certified and First Aid, Concussion Awareness & Heat stroke illness and is a Grade 8 USSF Soccer Official (20+ Years). Sean is the Director of Athletics at the Hampshire Dome in Milford, NH and owner of the Granite State Soccer School. Sean Coached Youth Club Soccer for 23 years from 1994 -2017 at Nashua World Cup, NH Fire SC, NEFC and GPS-NH.

Varsity Assistant - Alex Murphy (4th Season)
Alex attended and played at GD from 2009-2012 where he helped lead the Crusaders to back to back state titles in 2011 and 2012. Alex started central midfield in the 2012 state final vs Medway and was a intricate part of the programs success over those years. Alex went on to attend Roger Williams University in Rhode Island from 2013-2017 where he studied International Relations and Economics and played for the Hawks for two seasons. Alex played Club soccer for MPS (GPS) Bulldogs and the New Hampshire Phantoms. Alex coached the JV1 in 2018 and has been varsity assistant since.
JV1 Coach - Renato (Ron) Lima (3rd Season) - Ron was born and raised in Lawrence, MA. He was a 4-year starter at Greater Lawrence Technical High School and was selected as an Eastern MA all-star team his senior year. He then went on to play for Northern Essex Community College where he was a 2-year starter and co-captain. He also played for the Portuguese American Club of Lawrence for over 20 years. He started his coaching career as the junior varsity Boys Coach at Salem (NH) high school for 4 seasons. He then went on to coach the Varsity Girls team at Pelham high school for 2 seasons. After a very long break Ron returned to coaching, first at Innovation Academy in Tyngsboro MA and then at his alma mater, Greater Lawrence, both as assistant varsity positions. Coach Lima has earned a USSF D license from MYSA and a USSF C National License. Ron served in the United States Army reserve for 24 years. He has deployed three times to the middle east and Afghanistan. Ron currently is employed with the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue officer. Ron resides in Dunstable with his wife Jen and two daughters, Jenna and Abigail.
