Crusaders and Chieftians draw 1-1 in Midland B Boys Soccer

Groton, Ma, - Jr. Midfielder Riley Trimper scored in the 62nd minute when he blasted a great feed from Sr. Drew Stone into the lower corner to draw things even. Nashoba scored in the 11th minute when Nate Buchholz redirected a ball at the far post past Crusader Keeper Mitch Hardy for the 1-0 lead.

Sr. Drew Stone hit the crossbar on a direct kick before the break. GD received great play from Sr. Back Sam Enke, So. Simon Chandler and Jr. Brian Scott. The Crusaders improve to 0-1-1 overall and 0-0-1 in Midland B league play. Nashoba improve to 0-1-1 overall and 0-0-1 in Midland B league play. GD travel to Westboro on Thursday to take on the Rangers at 4pm.
