Harvard, Ma - Sr. Matt Tornaritis broke in alone from a give and go pass from Brother Dean Tornaritis in the 25th minute to lead the Crusaders of Groton Dunstable to the only goal they would need to defeat the Trojans of the Bromfield School Saturday afternoon. GD controlled play most of the first half limiting Bromfield's chances offensively. Twenty minutes into the 2nd stanza GD back Sr. Tyler Poitras sent a ball over the Trojan defense to Jr. Matt Krikorian who broke in a blasted it in for the 2-0 lead and his team leading 13th goal of the season. GD received great play from Luke Costello, Dean Tornaritis, Evan Lexo and Gabe Dingle. Bromfield drop to 8-3-1 overall while GD improve to 11-3-1. GD will host North Middlesex (1-11) next Tuesday at 7pm in a Midland B league game and Senior Night celebration.
