Freshman Reach Goal

The freshman Boy’s team achieved their goal of 8 wins with a 3 – 0 win

over Westborough. GD controlled the pace of the game and played strong on

both ends of the field. Great passing and team awareness contributed to

the final outcome. Player of the Day was Danny Horrigan. All day long Danny was denied

scoring opportunities and finally put the ball away at the 77 minute mark.

Hello All,

Each Season we make a goal as a program to achieve a certain number of wins between all three teams(30). Yesterday the Freshmen team achieved that goal for us. I have always believed a successful campaign each fall is decided among all the players in our program and the freshmen boys have completed that for us. I congratulate Coach Hamilton and all the Freshmen Boys for being the team to get # 30. It has been a great fall season for GD soccer and as the JV team chase win #11 for their team goal and the varsity Boys chase the Central Mass Crown we are on the verge of completing all the goals we set forth for ourselves.
