Pantomime

Both gay and straight

They dream of marriage

In a golden carriage

Personally all I ever wanted

Was a childhood

But I didnt get one

So I gather the scraps

And make a coat against

The winter cold of ageing

And cling to my dreams

And fantasies

I may play

At being a grown up

But its all just playing shop

My pantomime of childhood

Im not sure I'll ever stop

If this confuses the simple minded

I dont care

As I am decided
