If Dreams Be Divine

If Dreams Be Divine

If Dreams be divine or fell.

Imagination serves man well.

Gravity would have defied Newton

Had he not idled neath the tree.

Our eureka moment comes in the bath.

Some dream of Math.

Where one marries zero.

Is born the human hero.

I will not have my imagination shackled by religion or rationalism.

If I must be grounded by gravity or gainsayed by God.

So be it.

But my dreams will not be ruled by mortal men.

Be they scientist or priest.

I couldn't care in the least.

The dreamer is not a beast.

Not in the least.

Impermanence is eternal.

Bigotry and pedantry are infernal.
