Human meaning.

Like any pattern in nature

Washes away all to easily with the tide

But if we are patient

And persevering

Perhaps infinitely so

Then all too often

The pattern reasserts its self

And meaning returns

In the meantime

Some cling to faith

Some to football

Some to philosophy

Any raft will do

As long as it floats

Yer boat

Go ahead and blame

Your favourite scapegoat
