Absurdity

Absurdity

I prefer the absurd to irony.

I prefer laughing and crying hysterically.

At the same time.

To raising an arch eyebrow in a roll neck sweater.

Realising that the quest for truth is absurd.

But that Zeus and Charles Darwin demand it.

Is better than abandoning the task and wasting away at the bottom of the hill.

We must sweat to get the question to the top.

Then dance in rage and joy when it rolls back down.

Pretend to tie our shoe laces.

Have a pint of Guiness.

Enjoy the view.

then stroll back down.

Realising that if we are a clown.

Then we wear a a crown.

As we are the king of fools.
