Robes us all in such dignity

And robes the poor in aspiration

And greed in theory

And war in prudence

And theft in law

And rape in work

And slavery in justice

We have become afraid

To walk beneath the sky

Without these fine silks

We are afraid to be thought

The fools that we are

So we buy a bigger car

Even though to do so

Is to strangle our very own grandchildren

Ha!

Look at our dignity!

We chopped off our own bollocks

And then bought a mechanical pair

And fed the children of machines

Who knows what this folly means

Zappa would say 'eat yer greens.'
