OUTDOOR CHALLENGE
Complete at least four challenges with other Cub Scouts
CAMPING
Spend at least three nights under a tent. May be completed in separate camps. Record the dates and location.
HIKING
Hike on foot for at least 10 km. May be completed in separate hikes of no less than 5 km each. Record the dates, and start and end points.
COOKING
Cook a healthy meal outdoors, as agreed with your Akela. It must include at least one protein, two vegetables and one carbohydrate. Add onto that a serving of fruit. (NB. Instant noodles does not constitute a healthy meal and is not to be included)
OBSTACLES
Take part in a wide game, a standard obstacle course or Challenge Valley.
SHELTER
Set up a Basha (shelter) and make use of it during a Scouting activity.
ORIENTEERING
Complete a simple orienteering course or map and compass challenge.
SWIMMING
Wade or swim across a stream or river wearing a life vest OR swim across the breadth of a swimming pool.
OVER TO YOU
Complete a suitable Outdoor Challenge activity agreed with your Akela.
Choose and complete at least TWO Adventure Challenges with other Cub Scouts. Record the challenge and the dates.
Take part in THREE Sixer Council meetings or with leaders to discuss and share ideas to plan for a future Pack meeting or event. Record the dates.
Play a leading role on at least two occasions in any TWO of the following areas:
TEAM CAPTAIN
Act as a key player or captain for a sports team or any other competitive team of your choice.
AREA / NATIONAL
Represent your Pack at an Area or National competition, gang show or any other suitable event as directed by your Akela.
GANGSHOW
Take part in a Cub Scout Pack or Gangshow either on stage or back stage.
CUB SCOUT PACK EXCHANGE
Connect with another Pack or play host to another Pack or Cub Scout in person or online and tell them about your pack; then assist to run a game during the meeting.
ACT OF REVERENCE
Plan and execute an Act of Reverence, a Scout’s Own Service or an inter-religious activity for an event.
CONSERVATION
Plan and carry out a local conservation project.
GAMES
Plan and facilitate some games at a Pack Meeting or any other Pack event.
OVER TO YOU
Play a leading part in any other Pack activity agreed with your Akela.
Complete Emergency Preparedness Tier 3 badge and at least SIX other Activity or Proficiency badges.
Complete ALL the following:
Attained at least 6 Activity or Proficiency badges, other than Emergency Preparedness Tier 3 badge.
Completed all the requirements listed in Bronze, Silver & Gold Arrow Progress awards.
Has a minimum 3-year Cub Scout journey before the year of assessment.
Has held or is currently holding the rank of Sixer, Assistant Sixer or Senior Sixer for at least 4 months.
