The National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) had developed the programme to maximise outreach to Scouts in raising crime prevention awareness and learn the importance of crime prevention and the concept of self-help to prevent crimes.

Visit a crime prevention exhibition/roadshow held at any public housing estates or attend an online Crime Prevention Talk via Zoom*.
Carry out 1 Crime Prevention Activity (determined by the teacher-in-charge)

Propagate the crime prevention message by discussing the handouts, pamphlets, checklist on crime prevention with their parents and with at least two of their neighbours/friends and to persuade them to implement the recommended crime prevention measures.
Do a Research Project about the school environment. Candidates are required to look out for safety and security problems that exist in their respective schools and to spot potential problem spots. Candidates then would have to do presentation on their findings and observation and provide solutions to each problem to the Venture Scout Leader and Head of Department (CCA). The requirements fulfilled the Citizenship element in the Venture Scout Training Scheme.

A Venture Scout who has gained the badge as a Scout will be exempted from 1, 2 and 3. Please submit a photocopy of the certificate during registration.
At the end of the programme, Leaders are to submit their Unit's Results Form here.
Leaders will be informed via email once the badges are ready for collection.
