Badge Requirements

Choose any two of the following activities:

• Plan, rehearse for and perform in a gang show, concert or band performance. Examples include, but are not limited to, skit, dance, singing, band, magic tricks.
  
  

• Perform any two of the following either by yourself or, preferably, in a group for your pack.
  (a) Mime or skit
  (b) Dance (Any genre - Modern, folk or traditional)
  (c) Stage a puppet or shadow play by using puppets, which you have made.
  (d) Sing a programme of songs, carols or hymns.
  (e) Help plan and perform a series of magic tricks.
  (f) Make a selection of simply rhythm instruments and use them as accompaniments.
  (g) Help to plan and make an entertainment recorded on video.
  (h) Take part in a gymnastic display.
  (i) Any other suitable activity agreed with your Leader.
  
  

• Either:
  (a) Find out about the courses available at the School Of The Arts (SOTA) and how you might work towards a course you may be interested in.
  (B) Find out about a career opportunity in performing arts (education, training, and experience required) and explain why this profession might interest you.
