Badge Requirements

Choose any FOUR of the following activities:

• Visit ONE of the following Manadai Wildlife Parks:
  a) Bird Paradise
  b) Night Safari
  c) River Wonders
  d) Singapore Zoo
  
  

• Find out about some of the feeding habits and natural habitats of the animals and creatures you see.
  
  

• Help to take care of a pet. Write down the correct food to give it, how to recognise and prevent common illnesses, and how to treat them.
  
  

• Keep a record over TWO weeks, in pictures, sketches, photographs or video recordings, of a bird, an animal and/or insect life in your garden or local area/park.
  
  

• Know SIX different seawater or freshwater tropical fish and the types of foods they eat.
  
  

• Join an animal, bird, nature or wildlife society. Either take part in ONE of its activities or make progress in any award scheme offered by the group.
  
  

• Make a poster, collage or drawing about the dangers in the country that threaten wildlife and talk to your Leader about it.
