Seamanship & Nautical Skills

• (JS-S01) Research on the history of the founding of Sea Scouting, both internationally and locally. Present a reflection with your Crew / Patrol / Six based on literatures you found about Sea Scouting.

• (JS-S02) Present FIVE simple Sea Scout terminology to your Crew / Patrol / Six.

• (JS-S03) Name TEN parts of a vessel.

Water Sports Skills

• (JS-W01) Name at least THREE sea sports locations providing sea sports courses / activities. 

• (JS-W02) Present the differences between water sports personal flotation devices (PFD) and a SOLAS lifejackets.

• (JS-W03) Present the developmental pathway of ONE sea sport of your choice.

Marine Environmental Stewardship 

• (JS-M01) Present on ONE case study on the degradation of a natural / outdoor space due to overuse / irresponsible recreational user behaviours.

• (JS-M02) Able to name our marine parks and locate them on a map/ chart.

• (JS-M03) Present on some general regulations of the parks.

Maritime Career Discovery

• (JS-C01) Illustrate and describe the THREE different Ensigns of Singapore.

• (JS-C02) Participate in a Learning Journey to the Singapore Maritime Gallery. Write a reflection with at least THREE photos based on your experience of your learning journey to Singapore Maritime Gallery. It should reflect what you know about the history of Singapore as a maritime nation and understand the words from Singapore’s late Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew: “Singapore's raison d'etre was its port”.

• (JS-C03) List FIVE occupations associated with Singapore’s maritime industry and present on one with your patrol.
