Crime Prevention Badge (Scout)

Introduction

The National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) had developed the programme to maximise outreach to Scouts in raising crime prevention awareness and learn the importance of crime prevention and the concept of self-help to prevent crimes.

Theory Lesson

• Cyber crimes

• Property crimes

• Scams

• Sexual Crimes

• Loan sharks and unlicensed moneylending

• Youth gangs

• About the Singapore Police Force 

Assessment

Assignment

1. Visit a crime prevention exhibition/roadshow held at any public housing estates or attend an online Crime Prevention Talk via Zoom*.

2. Carry out 1 Crime Prevention Activity (determined by the teacher-in-charge) 

3. Dissemination of Crime Prevention Measures 

*Please email to enquiries@ncpc.org.sg to arrange for the online talk at least 2 weeks in advance.

Submission

At the end of the programme, Leaders are to submit their Unit's Results Form here. 

Leaders will be informed via email once the badges are ready for collection.
