World Friendship (Cub)

Badge Requirements

Choose any three of the following activities:

• Establish and maintain a relation with a Cub Scout from another country via mail or e-mail with them for at least three months.
  
  

• Recognise the flags from ten countries in the world, five of which must be from outside the ASEAN Region.
  
  

• Collect at least three coins, stamps and postcards from three different countries in the ASEAN Region and then discuss with your Leader what you know about the ASEAN Region. You will need to find out, for example: which countries are in the ASEAN Region and what the ASEAN flag looks like.
  
  

• Write a 200-word essay about how (Cub) Scouts can contribute to world peace.
  
  

• Make a collage, model or chart to tell others about the work of the United Nations (UN).
  
  

• Do something to help another country in need at the moment, e.g. a country that has recently experienced severe flooding, landslides, hurricane, an earthquake, famine or disease outbreak.
  
  

• Draw six National Scout Emblems of Scout Associations in other countries.
  
  

• Mark a world map to show where all the past World Jamborees have been held.
