Understand the purpose of a password. Why should we not share our passwords with other people?
Tier 2
Explain what is Phishing and what are 3 different ways someone can perform phishing against you.
Show how someone with bad intentions can use personal information that you shared to phish you.
Understand how Online Scams work. Find a recent case of an Online Scam and share that knowledge with your peers. What can we do to prevent falling victim to Online Scams?
Show how you can tell if a WiFi network is secure and if a website is legitimate. What are the risks of connecting to an unsecure WiFi or a website which is not legitimate?
Tier 3:
Demonstrate how you can create a strong password. Explain the dangers of using a weak password for your online accounts. What can you use to remember complicated passwords for all your different accounts?
Explain the dangers of reusing the same password across multiple accounts. Find a recent example of a website with a password breach and illustrate how someone with bad intentions could make use of it to compromise your accounts.
How does Multi-Factor authentication help prevent accounts from getting compromised? Turn on multi-factor authentication for 1 of your social media accounts and document the steps.
