Multiplicity & Selected Color
The subject of these two photographs are of myself and my dog Henry using the photoshop technique of multiplicity and selective color. The materials I used were photoshop and my canon camera. I chose to create these photographs because I thought that the bright colors of my kayaks and the lamp in my room would look using selective color against the black and white. The elements of art that I used were color and texture. The principals of design that I used were repetition and pattern. The composition rules/ techniques that I used were informal balance for both images. This project relates to my life because one of the images is of myself showing kayaks which I love to do and the other image is of my dog. If I could change anything about the images I created I would erase the reflections of items in my room from the window.
