Jarl Ekesson

My name is Jarl Akesson and I am from Stockholm, Sweden. My main instruments are the piano and organ, and my main passion is music composition. I also love teaching, and am sad to leave behind 4 piano students here in Stockholm for my studies in the fall. In addition, I am the keyboardist and a songwriter for a Stockholm-based punk/rock band. In 2023 I went to the Atlantic Music Festival as a composer. In my spare time I enjoy watching film and television. I am a staunch fan of Bergman, and have a Swedish 200 crown note on my person at all times (it has his face on it).
