Phoenix Ferreira Ford

Phoenix Ferreira Ford is an African American male born and raised in Amherst Massachusetts. Phoenix has always been involved in the arts, from piano recitals to a multitude of vocal performances, but during the pandemic is when Phoenix began his compositional journey. In the summer of 2021, Phoenix attended the Berkley Music Composition Intensive summer camp, where his first compositions were played with live instruments. In that following school year, he has had the opportunity to work on many different film projects with a multitude of students from his high school. Additionally, he has composed and recorded music for books such as Planeta Blue Rise of Aguo, a recent addition to Black Horse comics. As his journey as a screen scorer continues he plans to make many long-lasting connections and relationships with his fellow composers and filmmakers.
