Ian Baker

Ian Baker is a composer from Cincinnati, Ohio, currently living in New York City. His music spans a wide variety of areas including music for film, television, concert and chamber works, and music production for pop and other genres. Aside from his work as a composer, Ian also frequently conducts ensembles for musical theatre work as well as recording sessions for his fellow composers at New York University, where he currently attends. He has had the privilege of having his music played by multiple ensembles ranging from full orchestra to small chamber works with electronics, as well as live-to-picture film premieres with student players. With an eagerness for composing, he currently finds himself writing music for student films and is excited to help other artists bring life to their projects in any way he can.
