Evelyn Fang

Evelyn Fang is an accomplished composer and clarinetist from China. She has extensive experience in both piano and clarinet, having been an integral part of school ensembles since the age of six. Her musical compositions are deeply influenced by oriental music and Nordic folk music, as well as elements of minimalism and the New Age genre. Evelyn excels at discovering and incorporating natural sounds into her scores, creating rich sonic landscapes that bring the audience closer to the scenes. She is currently furthering her academic pursuits with a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition with a concentration in Screen Scoring at NYU Steinhardt. Passionate about 2D and video games, anime, film, and sound art, Evelyn is eager to forge collaborations with artists from diverse cultural backgrounds.
