Born in Peru, Rodrigo studied both classical and popular music, specializing in electric and classical guitar, as well as composition. He spent three years at the National University of San Agustín before transferring to Souza Lima & Berklee in São Paulo, Brazil, where he completed the two-year Berklee Track program, offering the same curriculum as the one in Boston.
