Leona Sigmund
Leona Sigmund is an Austrian-Chinese multi-media composer currently based in New York. Having studied composition in numerous places: Shanghai, Vienna, Leeds, London and New York, has helped her build a unique set of skills. Leona is the lead composer to the newly launched indie game “little devil” launched in 2023 by Cave Games. She is also working on scoring a new game which will be competed and exhibited at EGX London.
Leona is in the process of obtaining a masters degree in composition:screen scoring at New York University. She has also secured a bachelor of Music degree with a focus in composition from University of London, City.
Having studied classical composition and piano first before exploring film music has helped her develop an interest in blending multiple styles of music together. She intends on exploring world instruments and synths to create unique sounds in order to effectively capture the emotions on the screen.
