Chi Wang (Jacky) Chan

Pursuing his passion for music, Chi Wang (Jacky) Chan has continually been working with music recording and music for media for over five years. He has assisted and audio-engineered in some of the well-known recording studios in New York City, including the Quad Studios and the James L. Dolan Studio. Jacky also music-supervised for a student-dating reality show titled “02215 Mystery Box” while maintaining close friendships and working relationships with filmmakers.

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Technology from NYU, Jacky honed his music production skills and mastered many creative tools to invest in film scoring. He loves to blend synthetic and electronic musical elements with film scoring to deliver modern and contemporary tastes for visual media. At the same time, his music features various musical genres ranging from electronic, orchestral to pop.

Jacky was one of the twenty composers selected for the 2023 ASCAP Columbia University Film Scoring Workshop, and he will join the Screen Scoring Graduate program at NYU in 2023 Fall.
