Wenyuxuan Du (Devon), born in 2000, is a film composer, film director and Zhongruan player from China. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Cinema and Television from Hong Kong Baptist University and is set to pursue her master's degree in Screen Scoring at New York University in the fall of 2024. Devon is also proficient in piano and flute.

As a musician, Devon has a diverse compositional style. She focuses on exploring the fusion of Eastern and Western music while excelling in jazz and orchestral scoring. Recognized by the Silicon Arts Beach Foundation in L.A., she has contributed compositions to chamber music concerts centered around Chinese poetry. She performed as a zhongruan soloist at numerous international cultural exchange activities.

As a film director, her Short film, Advanced Animals (2021, writer, director and composer) against female competition won honorable mention award in Indo Malaysia Film Festival and Sea of Art. Short film Hi,womb! (2022, writer, director and composer) against menstrual shame was honored as the best five short films and screened in the 9th Chongqing Youth Film Festival and was officially selected and screened in Oregon Independent Film Festival. 

From film directing to film composing, Devon's diverse artistic experiences have fostered in her an open and inclusive attitude towards artistic creation. She aspires to use music to preserve culture, advocate for minority and marginalized groups, and explore new possibilities in filmmaking.
