Lindsay Dills

Lindsay Dills is a composer, multimedia sound artist, violinist, and pianist with a passion for collaborating on and crafting music and sonic atmospheres for Film, Television, and Video Games. Drawing from her background as a performer and her experience in foley and sound design, Dills is known for curating unique sounds and adapting her music to fit a wide range of media and styles. A regular in the recording studio, she has recorded violin and voice for multiple media projects including her own.   Recent film highlights have included The Contest (Collaboration with NYU Tisch), The Price to Pay, The Art of Being Effortless, and Where the Aspens Weep (Winner of the MLC Jewel Award and Best Experimental Picture Award).


Currently, Lindsay is pursuing her Masters in Music Theory and Composition: Screen Scoring at New York University Steinhardt. She also serves as the lead composer for video game projects at SpellBound AR, a therapeutic company using video games and augmented reality to further children’s recovery and medical treatment. She is proud to have written music and provided sound design for their latest project PAWS, funded by the National Institute of Health. Dills is also mentored by Catherine Joy and Ariel Marx.
