Eddie Raj is a composer and producer originally from Dallas, Texas. His award-winning instrumental and choral music have been performed by top-tier professional ensembles such as Yarn/Wire, the Crossing, the Parker Quartet, and Budapest Scoring Orchestra. As a film composer, Eddie loves combining custom sounds and textures with live jazz, folk, and orchestral music. He has composed for, produced, and lead engineered many sessions in Boston with session players from Tanglewood, the Boston Pops, Berklee, and NEC. Most recently, he conducted a 45-piece orchestra in Boston for his tone poem “The Myth of Sisyphus.”
Eddie started out as a classical vocalist, and he often combines elements of choral and operatic singing into his compositions. He was first inspired to score films through John Williams’s score to E.T. and Alan Silvestri’s score to The Polar Express. Eddie’s experience playing basketball for many years drew him toward the collaborative aspect of making film.
