Audrey Wang

Audrey is a Chinese film composer, pianist, and singer songwriter. She is especially interested in using music as a way of expressing emotions that cannot be described by words. In her compositions, she utilizes elements of traditional Chinese music, Japanese animation film music, Disney themes, dream pop/city pop songs, musical theater, and classical music. In high school, she composed a musical comprised of 15 original songs which embrace different moods, and it gave her the chance to play with chords and musical motifs. Audrey is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition: Screen Scoring at NYU Steinhardt. She is looking forward to collaborating with artists, film makers, and musicians from different cultural and musical backgrounds.
