Hunter Kozlowski is a composer, orchestrator, vocalist, and trombonist based in Lansing, New York. He's been nominated as an alternate for the All-State jazz band, placed twice in state honors composition competitions, and sang in his Area All-State mixed chorus. He's also a graduate of the 2024 NowBeat Program cycle, and a two-time recipient of the STMEA grant.
He has arranged for his school's show choir and written for a variety of instrumental ensembles, including the Ithaca College Trombone Troupe. His newer work has expanded his focus to jazz ensembles as well, where he has cultivated a distinctly modern style. However, he is more than capable of working in any genre or format.
He has done all this while being self-taught. Now, he hopes to expand the scope of his work to film and game music through NYU Steinhardt's Screen Scoring program, through work with Tisch student directors and game developers. He is a frequent collaborator with other composers and performers, and is always excited to start his next project. He looks forward to being part of your team.
