Chen Zhou

Chen Zhou is currently a graduate screen scoring student at New York University. She is a classically trained composer in her Undergraduate studies. She earned her BA degree in Music with Professor Ingrid Arauco at Haverford College. She developed an interest in Film composition as she discovered her talent for writing with images and feelings during her composition journey. Chen focused on writing orchestral scores at the beginning of her film composition, while she is now concentrating on synthesizers and finding her own way of combining synth and orchestral sound.

Bilingual both in Chinese and English, Chen seeks opportunities to collaborate with directors from diverse backgrounds.
