Malachi Gregory embarked on his musical journey at the age of 8 when he first picked up the viola, setting the stage for a lifelong devotion to the craft. Over the past seven years, Malachi has seamlessly blended his classical training with modern creativity, crafting enchanting compositions for video games and other media. With every project he aims to develop wholly immersive soundscapes in the world of game audio, utilizing adaptive audio systems and score to elevate the player experience.

Recently scored games include SIGNAL CREEK developed by Snacktime Games, MECHROMANCY 3052 developed by Lee McGrirr, and WHAT?! developed by Yunfei Gao/Trevor Konty. SIGNAL CREEK was recently featured at PlayNYC in August 2023. Other scores include OVERCOOTS (2023 Ludwig Game Jam), PALETTE (2022 NYU Game Center Capstone), WHERE ADVENTURE WAITS (Wwise Adventure Game Concept Score 2022), RIFT RACERS (Mix and Game Jam 2020), as well as other smaller projects. Currently he is working on the soundtrack and implementation to DIRTY WORK at the NYU Game Center. 

In  the  world  of  film  scoring, Malachi has recent finished writing for I’VE directed by Cici (Yuyang) Fang. Other projects include the BETH AND TAXES TV Pilot developed by developed by Joe Smith, Daneja Cureton, and Euan Ramos, and short films SHRED! by Liam Contoy, E 17ST, CONEY ISLAND by Gabby Zhong, and COVID by Hayoung Kim. Another recent short film, A MATCH MADE ON ELEVEN, recently premiered at the New Faces New Voices film festival this September. His upcoming work includes documentary HAPPILY SOMEWHERE AFTER produced by Peyton Freeney, short film TOM BY ZHANG directed by Tom Zhang, and HE SUED, SHE SUED, a continuation of Beth and Taxes produced by Joe Smith, Daneja Cureton, and Euan Ramos. Within the wider realm of scoring to linear media, Malachi was also commissioned to produce a backing track, CARAMEL CREAM, for streamer/influencer Ludwig Ahgren.
