Caroline Luo

Caroline Jingyi Luo is a composer based in Shanghai, Vancouver, and New York City. She is currently a student at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development majoring in Music Theory and Composition: Screen Scoring.

Since a young age Caroline had been fascinated by music. She appreciates music as a universal means of communication. Growing up in different cultural backgrounds such as Shanghai and Vancouver, she is an open minded musician and a talented artist who enjoys merging different cultures in her creative work.

At NYU, Caroline has worked on several student films as a composer, collaborating with student directors to explore projects’ creativity potential.  She is an excellent colleague who works with extreme dedication.

Caroline is currently working on a several short film and animation projects, as well as her own projects. She is dedicated to express her own voice through music, excited to bring more stories to life via music notes.
