Joe Cahill

Joe Cahill is a composer, teacher, rapper, and producer. His love of music began at the age of 6 when he started singing bass lines of Stevie Wonder songs with his dad in the car. From that moment, he was fascinated by how music was made and how it ignites a connection between people. 

He earned a Bachelor of Music at the Peabody Conservatory studying film and video game music and is pursuing a master’s degree at Steinhardt's Screen Scoring program. 

Currently, he is working on a production called ""The Galaxy Brain Experience;"" an interdisciplinary show encompassing dance, music, and animation. 

Besides productions, he worked as a music educator and audio engineer at Living Classrooms in Baltimore. He taught his students music production on Logic Pro as well as piano and drum performance. In addition, he ran recording sessions for students who came in with original songs.
