Ben Rosales is a Junior from New Jersey studying Screen Scoring. His musical background consists of playing classical, jazz, pop, musical theater, and rock piano, orchestral percussion, saxophone, guitar, and various other instruments. He has studied composition with Chilean conductor Jose Luis Dominguez through the NJSO Academy Orchestra. Also, Ben is trained and certified in Music/Audio Technology through his high school education working under producer/recording engineer/multi-instrumentalist Rod Shepard.

Since he began scoring in high school, Ben has written music for many short films, some of which have won awards at film festivals along the East Coast. He uses a wide range of styles and instrumentations in his scores but focuses on hyper-orchestral music, blending traditional instrumentation with analog and digital synthesis. Additionally, Ben writes contemporary concert music for orchestra and smaller ensembles and has a composition being premiered by the New Jersey Symphony's Academy Orchestra. He looks forward to collaborating with film directors, songwriters, producers, and all other creatives.
