Tina Pang is a Chinese composer and pianist who grew up in Shanghai, China. Having started her piano studies at 4 years old, she was awarded with Distinction in both Grade 8 Music Theory and Piano performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) by 2019. 


She was a student at the Tianjin Juilliard Precollege Program from 2019 to 2022 where she attended rigorous classes covering composition, theory, ear training, and conducting. It was here where she studied composition with Niccolo Athens and Amao Wang. She especially focused on her education in conducting, having conducted the school string ensemble in her high school and a full orchestra outside of school. She also attended the FaceArt Institute of Music where she was mentored by Professor Richard Sussman from Manhattan school of Music and Dr. Jaroslaw Kapuscinski from Stanford university. 


Over the past 5 years she has composed for a multitude of different instrumental and vocal ensembles from solos to full orchestral pieces and is now extending into composing in the DAW. She is now studying Music Theory and Composition at NYU.
