Passionate about collaborating with talented modern media storytellers (Film/TV, advertising, gaming), Riya is a professionally published media composer, with music placed in Al Jazeera and MPATH/APM - Sony/Universal. A seasoned composer and multi-instrumentalist, Riya is trained in classical violin, piano, western orchestral canon, Indian Hindustani, and harmonium. Highly experienced in delivering on tight deadlines, Riya's diverse composition and studio production skills allow for a seamless fusion of orchestral, electronic, synth, and sound design elements to tackle wide-ranging cinematic themes - action, horror, crime, documentary, comedy, and global. Her current projects include a professional Hollywood-based animated action feature film, a horror TV series pilot, and a concert commission from Cambria Music, etc. Riya's primary goal is to partner with acclaimed modern media storytellers and compose potent music that supports and enhances the director's artistic vision.
