Caleb J. Both is an American composer and pianist specializing in film music and concert works. His music is characterized by an emphasis on memorable melodic writing, an ode to the orchestral writing of early Hollywood, and a blend of contemporary electronic techniques.

His film work includes the award-winning "Fool's Gold" short film; "Wedding Cake" -- a drama short film; the web-series "Murder in Bb Minor"; the short documentary "Eye of the Beholder"; and several other student short films.

Concert works include the 2020 Georgia State University (GSU) Wind Band Composition Competition winner, "The Chipmunks and the Alley Cat"; "Clarinet Quintet"; "Elegy for Creation" -- for string orchestra; "Piano Trio"; and "Desolation" -- selected for reading in the University of Missouri-Kansas City's 2018 summer composition camp with newEar Contemporary Chamber Ensemble.

Caleb is a current M.M. student studying Screen Scoring at New York University, and holds a B.Mus. in Music Composition and a minor in Business Law from GSU. His devotions to his studies at GSU earned him two prestigious scholarships: The Theodore Presser Foundation Scholarship, and the John Schneider Memorial Scholarship.
