Ignacio Rosado

Ignacio Rosado (Iggy) is a 17-year-old composer based in New York. A talented multi-instrumentalist with a background in classical music, he recognizes the value of and prioritizes using live instruments in his scores. Amongst the array of instruments he records himself performing on, violin stands out. He has the ability to create at an astonishingly fast pace; his mind holds a well of ideas just waiting to be utilized. He brings his uniquely deep understanding of music to composition, having been a lifelong musician and music appreciator. 

Ignacio is passionate about the entanglement of visual media and music. “It’s a beautiful thing when artistic minds come together and bring a project to life. I am always eager to collaborate.” Now a sophomore, he intends to learn and grow as much as he can during his time at NYU.
