Home Extension: Please see the school news for information about our Storybook Character Parade on Friday. You can help your child pick out a favorite book to bring to school and wear a simple costume to match it. Please have your child arrive in costume if possible. Don't feel like you have to go buy a costume; if your child has a costume at home you can usually find a book to go with the character. Families are welcome to watch the parade! It will be right after morning drop off and we will walk around the outside of the building to show off our costumes. We will change out of the costumes after the parade so if your child can't wear the costume over his/her clothes, make sure to send a change of clothing. Please label any costume pieces with your child's name. Thank you!

October 28 - Trunk or Treat 6:00-8:00pm in the OC Taylor parking lot

October 31 - Book Character Parade: Students are invited to come dressed as a favorite storybook character while holding a copy of their favorite book! We will display our book character costumes in a parade on the morning of Friday, October 31!

Nov. 3 - No school for students; professional development for teachers
