Our ECSE holiday parties will be on Thurs. Dec. 18. It is an early dismissal day, so the morning class will attend from 7:35-9:35, with the party scheduled 8:45-9:30; and the afternoon class will attend from 9:45-11:45, with the party scheduled 10:45-11:30. Full day students will attend 7:35-11:45. If you'd like to donate for our holiday snack time, please check out the sign up link and pay attention to the time slot when your child will attend. You may send the treats that morning with your child.

We will also have a book exchange. Please send a new, gift wrapped book suitable for a boy or girl, by Wed. Dec. 17. Usually $5-10 is a good price range to stay within. You can write on the tag, "to my friend, from (your child's name)."

December 17 - Polar Express Day! We will wear pajamas and enjoy hot chocolate and popcorn, and there might be a North Pole visitor!

December 18 - ECSE and PreK Holiday Class Parties (see more info above); Early Release Day. 

Dec. 19 - Jan. 7 - Winter Break

Announcements:

• We are in need of extra clothing in our classrooms, specifically we need more for boys now.  If you have clothes in a size 3-6 or child's small/extra small, especially PANTS, we would welcome your donation!  Also, if we have lent your child clothes, please send them back so we can replenish our supply.

• Please label your child's jackets and water bottles.  Many kid's items look similar and we want to make sure your child's belongings go home with them!

• If your student is absent for any reason, please email the teacher and copy sierra.salter@gcisd.net and elissa.faught@gcisd.net.  This is our Attendance Clerk and our school nurse here at OC Taylor.  If your child rides the bus, please also call transportation at (817) 251-5592 to let them know.
