Home Extension: With Halloween approaching, now is a good time to work with your child to prepare them for the holiday. Halloween can be lots of fun, but it can also increase kids anxiety of the unknown. At school, we often use the YouTube channel, "Super Simple Songs" to find age appropriate thematic songs. Their website also includes crafts, recipes, activities, and tips for parents. Here is a link to their Trick or Treat tips to help kids get ready for this time of year..

October 21st- Hearing and vision screening day for ECSE and PreK students. If your child wears glasses or hearing aids, please make sure they have them that day.
October 27-31 - Book Fair/Red Ribbon Week
Monday - Wear tie-dye
Tuesday - Wear neon or bright colors
Wednesday - Wear pajamas
Thursday - Wear your favorite sports team gear or school spirit wear
Friday - Dress as your favorite book character
October 28 - Trunk or Treat 6:00-8:00pm
October 31 - Book Character Parade: Students are invited to come dressed as their favorite storybook character while holding a copy of their favorite book! We will display our book character costumes in a parade on the morning of Friday, October 31!
