Effect Exercise Physiology (EEP) PD Reimbursement Policy
To encourage everyone to be continual learners and amplify our core value WE ARE THE STANDARD we encourage everyone to utilise their PD reimbursements through the calendar year.
Exercise Physiologists NOTE: Please ensure you read and follow ESSA accreditation guidelines to keep up to date with requirements each year
*For the year 2025 all practitioners receive $500 toward professional development contribution (Admin also receive $300 per calendar year)
Process:
If you would like a reimbursement for your PD, please speak to manager/director for verbal approval
Professional development must be payed in full. The receipt must then be sent to Director (via email or Slack). NOTE: Keep your receipts for your own tax returns!
Director will process receipt and return the value for the receipt up to the limit
NOTE: if you have utilised most funds, EEP will reimburse the amount you have left
(eg. EP has $100 PD dollars left. Purchases $400 course. EEP will reimburse the final $100 to you)
Terms of use:
Your $500 limit will not roll over into the new calendar year. All remaining amounts will expire on 31st of Dec each year.
Professional development must be related to clinical skills/learnings or practice related PD.
You cannot expect a reimbursement for unrelated or irrelevant PD (eg. a massage course for EPs, when that is not a service we provide at the clinic)
