Purpose:
To give clients without adequate income a chance to change their health, each practitioner has one (1) Clinics for Good program to award a client per quarter. This covers up to 12 consults/sessions for that person at the cost of the clinic.
Process:
Assess clients situation and readiness to change
- Must be contemplating change and ready to take steps with your guidance.
- Must have identified that finances are the only (or biggest) barrier to them making sustainable health changes
- Broadly assess their social/financial situation (eg. are they working, renting/mortgage, caring, etc.)
- Must assess what they are already doing treatment/cost wise (eg. Are they still getting a weekly massage?)
Approach client in a non threatening way to talk about their finances and and tell them about our Clinics for Good program.
YOU: "Hi NAME, you mentioned you could not come in/start treatment anymore due to financial reasons. I just wanted to talk with you to see if you had considered options in your current circumstances to allow us to work together such as [reducing alcohol/cigarette intake to save money, walking to shops to save on fuel, etc.)"
Client: "I already do that/There is no other way I can see myself paying for this"
YOU: "That is ok, we run a clinics for good program. This allows us to work with 1 person per year for up to 8 sessions to help someone who is really in need. Does that sound like a program you would be interested in participating in?"
Client: "yes/no"
When client agrees to participating, you can print out an Agreement Form (please also read terms & conditions yourself) and verbally take them through the form. Please also fill in:
- Date of agreement
- Your name
- Their details
- Number/type of sessions
- Signatures
Admin will scan the agreement into drive folder and book in the consults/sessions for the client.
We will ensure to ask client to receive an EPC referral (if they do not already have one) from their GP to help lessen the cost for the clinic.
NOTE: Along there journey please try apply the following strategies to help promote our services
