From your Workday Homepage, there is an icon in the top right corner of your screen that resembles a person. Click this to navigate to your Workday Profile.

Click "View Profile" directly under your name

On the left side of your profile there is a blue column, click the "Personal" tab.

There will be four (4) options on the top of your screen. Click the second option over "Names".

In the section titled "Preferred Name", click the Edit icon

Click on the check box if you wish to update your preferred name, which is different from your legal name.

This will allow you to modify how your name appears in internal systems and communications, while your legal name remains unchanged for official records. Make sure to follow any prompts or guidelines provided during the process to ensure your preferred name is updated correctly.
